Neighbors Band Together to Create Word’s Largest Grassroots Solar Event

Tour the homes and businesses of solar-savvy patrons as EcoAcre hosts its annual Solaterre Solar Home Tour. It’s part of the nonprofit American Solar Energy Society (ASES) National Solar Tour, the world’s largest grassroots solar event.

Slated for October 6th and 7th  from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm at EcoAcre in Perris California, the tour introduces Southern California residents to the solar technologies their friends and neighbors are using to 1) slash monthly energy bills, 2) improve property values, 3) realize rich tax credits and 4) reap cash incentives as they 5) assert their energy independence and 6) create a cleaner community.

The tour also provides an opportunity to talk with professionals about the variety of solar solutions available. They can explain costs, incentives, installations and how solar works to create clean, renewable energy to power homes, businesses, schools, churches and vehicles.

This year’s tour features the opportunity to visit a completely off-grid sustainably built rammed earth home with a solar powered water well in the Inland Empire.  Last year’s National Solar Tour attracted more than 150,000 people in 49 U.S. states and Puerto Rico.
